I finally hung the curtains in the kitchen!  I'm very pleased with the results!

 



Christmas Magic

Since Jayson has to work late tonight & I have my test in the morning, I told Eaen we could rent "Arthur Christmas" if he watched it quietly & let me study. After dinner, I put him in our room with the movie as I went downstairs to study. After awhile, he started yelling for me. When I asked what he needed, he responded with all the excitement in the world, "Mom, mom, come see Santa!" I love how excited he is for the holidays! This is such a fun age, even with it's trials!

Today is Maurie's 3rd Birthday.  After work, we went to his party at Kangaroo Zoo.

Lights

We put up Christmas lights & I found my Winnie the Pooh Christmas village.

Angel Tree

Today Eaen & I went shopping for a boy we picked off the Angel Tree.  We had a lot of fun picking out the gifts and Eaen even insisted on helping to wrap the gifts.  This has become an excellent tradition that is fulfilling.

 

 

 

 

After we got done with the Angel Tree, we put up and decorated our Christmas Tree.

 

 



Black Friday

After waiting in line at Target for 2 hours, we got everything we were looking for there.  We stopped by Walmart & ShopKo before waiting in line at Office Depot for a laptop & heading out to Sears.  On our way home from Sears, we stopped by Smiths before Jayson had to go to work.

After I took a nap & picked up Eaen, we did a little more shopping for decorations and gifts.

We've made it to Thanksgiving.  It's crazy how the time flies!  We had lunch with the Woodhave's and dinner at the Winn's.  The Black Friday sales started at 8 pm tonight, which kind of sucks.  We headed to Target around 6 pm to wait in line.  Eaen is spending the night with Grandpa tonight while Jayson & I hit the sales.

 

 



Cheers

Eaen saw the Sparkling Cider in the closet and told me he wanted to "Cheers".  He even made me use the champagne glasses Jayson & I have for our anniversary every year.

Eaen is obsessed with his new sword he got from Disney on Ice.  He wants to take it everywhere!

 

 

Disney on Ice

Great Grandma Woodhave wanted to take all the great-grandkids to see Disney on Ice.  Maddie couldn't make it, but we went with Brooke & Carson, Sandy, Lindsey & Shelby and Mindi & Lulu.  We had a great time and all the great-grandkids enjoyed the show.

Sledding with new friends

After so much fun sledding yesterday, we went sledding again today with Jayson's friend Nick and his son T.  Eaen & T had a great time.  Eaen said when we got home that T is his new best friend.

We got our first real snow storm of the year today.  It sure dumped a lot!
