Little Sis' Graduation
It's hard to believe that a little over 9 years ago I met this amazing little girl named Korrin when I was matched as her Big Sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. After 3 years of growing close, I moved away to Alaska, but we have always stayed close. She came to visit me once in Anchorage. She was at my wedding, baby shower, and Eaen's blessing. And we still get together every once in awhile. She has been through a lot in her life, but I have had the privilege of watching her grow into an amazing young woman! I am honored today to share in the joy and celebration of her high school graduation! School has never come easy to Korrin and I am so proud of her for this accomplishment! Eaen & I went to the graduation and then a party in her honor. We all had a great time and she is loved by many!

In Loving Memory
It's Memorial Day again. It seems like just yesterday that Eaen & I were making the rounds of the cemeteries for Memorial Day. I am grateful we are able to be so close to where our loved ones are laid to rest and that we have the opportunity to visit them often and remember their lives. Even though Eaen never met Grandpa Woodhave and he was only 5 months old when Grandpa Winn passed, every time we go to the graves, it's as if he knows them well.
Later in the day, I took Eaen down to the basketball hoops at the end of the street and let him play some basketball. He was really excited. He asked every child that came by to play with him and he was thrilled to have his own basket ball. I lowered the hoop to about 6' and I was amazed at how well he shot the ball! He made quite a few baskets! He seems to be a natural as all sports!

Super Bike Races
Jayson was able to get plenty of tickets to the Super Bike races today. We went with Uncle Jake, Travis & Jessica. Eaen was fascinated with the owls living in the eves of the grand stands.
We took time to go through Larry H Miller's car museum. He sure was a Ford fan!
Eaen got to sit in an airplane just his size.
But Eaen loved the motorcycle races! He got so excited every time they zoomed by us!

Air Show
Uncle Goofy
Grandma Winn had heart surgery this week. They put a balloon in to help relieve some of the pressure off the valve that needs to be replaced until they can get her in to do that surgery. They also put in a pace maker. Rod & Sharon came up to stay with her for a few days after the surgery. Eaen & I went to visit them tonight and Eaen was playing hide and seek with Uncle Goofy. He was so funny to watch. When it was Eaen's turn to hide, he would jump out and say "You found me!" One time he hid against the house and got white all over his hands and even his nose! They had a great time together!

New Cousin & Solar Eclipse
Carson showed up to dinner tonight with a surprise for all of us..... a new baby is on his/her way! We couldn't be more excited! Brooke is due in January!

After dinner, Eaen was climbing all over Grandpa! Then we all went outside to watch the Solar Eclipse. It was pretty cool. While we were out there some guys jumped off the mountain. Eaen likes to lay and watch them fly through the air!
