Birthday for 3....

At dinner tonight, we celebrated birthdays with my dad.  Mindi, Kate & Carson all had birthdays this week!  It's always fun to get together on Sundays and enjoy each other's company.

 

Caron's Birthday

Today we had the opportunity to celebrate Carson's 1st birthday at Kangaroo Zoo.  This kids had a great time playing on the slides and bounce toys.  Eaen didn't want to stop!  Carson was a little hesitant when he got his cake, but once he got started, he really got into it!  He opened presents and the kangaroo came to visit.  They finished with the bubble machine. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After the party, Eaen went to play at grandpa's while we went to the temple.  Not a bad day.

Cold Cereal & Movie Night

After a long week of work and school, we all took a break and went to our ward party.  They had a cold cereal and movie night.  Everyone brought cereal to share and they had popcorn as well.  They played "Tangled" on the projection screen in the cultural center.  It was fun to go as a family and get out after not seeing much of each other all week. 

 

 

Eaen was happy until we cut him off from the Fruit Loops. 

Aunt Mimi's Birthday

Today is Mindi's birthday.  I spent the day working while Eaen was with Grandma and Aunt Mimi.  We all met for dinner at the Pizza Factory.  Where grandma gave Mindi and Carson their birthday gifts before she left for Costa Rica.  It was a fun time.

Eaen do it

Each Sunday, someone helps Grandma Woodhave to her car when she is ready to leave.  Tonight as she got her coat on, Eaen yelled, "Eaen do it" and her hurried to her side where he tried to take her by the arm.  He didn't even bother putting on his shoes and coat.

Look at Me!

My grandma had found this pair of socks and I put them in Eaen's backpack to take to Lisa's for her daughter Paula.  Lisa forgot to take them out for a few days and Eaen found them today in his backpack.  He put them on his hands and his hat on his head and said, "Look at me!"

 

First Day of the Internship

Today was my first day as a Tax Intern at Wisan, Smith, Racker & Prescott, LLP!  They had training for the new people all day.  There are two people in their Vegas office and two of us in the Salt Lake office.  I had a great day.  Our training that was supposed to end at 5 went until 6:30 pm!

I feel like Eaen has grow taller recently, so today I decided to measure him again.  To my surprise, he was 41" tall!  That means he has grown a whole inch in the last month since his birthday and it puts him in the 100% for his height as well as his weight now!

Happy Valentine's Day

The power company decided to do some work today in our area and sent around notices that the power would be out all day.  Fortunately, I had my BAP meeting at school so Eaen spent the day with my mom and Grandma Winn.  By the time we all got home, the power was back on.  Jayson got me a nice bouquet of flowers.  I made Chicken Madeira for dinner and we watched two movies from the Redbox while we ate chocolate dipped strawberries.  Not a bad evening.
