Downtown SLC

We had another fun filled day with Grandpa.  The boys all slept in, which was nice.  Eaen didn't get up until 7:45 am and Jayson and Tony both slept later than that.  It truly felt like a vacation!  Once everyone was up and ready for the day, we headed to my dad's house so Jayson could change the oil in my car.  While he was busy doing that, Tony, Eaen & I went up to the mall to pick up Eaen's pictures.  I was pretty please with the ones we got.  We got back just as Jayson finished and we all headed to Atlantis Burger for lunch.  After lunch, we took Grandpa into SLC.  We started at Temple Square where we walked around the grounds and the visitors centers.  The SLC Temple is currently closed for maintenance, so there was hardly anybody on the grounds.

While we were sitting and enjoying the Christus, a couple of people took pictures in front of the statue.  Eaen said, "I want a picture with my Jesus!"  So, we all took pictures as well.

After we left Temple Square, we went to Tony Caputo's to get some cheese for a Superbowl party.  Then we took Grandpa to the Gateway Mall to walk around and get a surprise for Grandma, who had to stay in Alaska.

When we got home, Grandpa made us a nice Salmon dinner with some of the fish he brought us from Alaska!  It was delicious!  Even Eaen liked the Salmon.  After dinner Grandpa & Eaen played, colored and watched the basketball game on tv.  Another great day!
