MVP

After struggling the last couple games to hit the ball off what he calls "that wacky machine" they use to pitch the ball, Eaen had an amazing game tonight.  He was first up to bat & opened the game with a triple.  One of the other batters hit a single and he came home for what ended up being the only run of the game.  In the second inning, Eaen was playing left field.  The only batter that hit the ball that inning for the other team hit it near Eaen.  Their coach waived him on to second just as Eaen picked up the ball.  Eaen sprinted toward second base & tagged the runner out just before he got to the base.  The other player was un-happy to say the least, but Eaen's coach was pleased.  In the final inning, Eaen had another chance to bat and hit a single.  He had a great night and we were all proud of him.  Phillies won 1-0.

Lately, Eaen has been playing more with his tools.  He loves to wear his safety glasses!

It looks like 2014 is going to be a great year for our growing family! 

Jayson & I found out this morning that we will be completing our family this year.  We are very excited.  We are going to wait until Eaen's birthday to tell everyone.
