Happy Halloween!

Eaen and I spent the morning at home watching all the Halloween cartoons on PBS while Jayson was at work.  When it was time for me to go to class, my dad came and picked up Eaen and took him Trunk-or-Treating at Dick's and then to see Grandma Woodhave.

Fortunately, my professor decided to cut class in half tonight so I was home by 5:30 and we were out Trick-or-Treating 15 minutes later.  Eaen had a great time!  After we hit most of the houses in our community, we headed up to Grandma Winn's and we finished the night at Christensen's with Jake and Brooke.

Look at all that loot!  Not bad for a 2-yr-old!

Today is also Grandpa Furio's birthday, we made sure to call and wish him Happy Birthday!

Butter?

Grandma Woodhave took us out to dinner tonight at Texas Roadhouse.  After Eaen ate about 5 rolls, we caught him eating the butter and proud of it.  At least he still ate all of him mac n cheese!

Carving Pumpkins

Tonight I gave Eaen his first lesson in carving pumpkins.  He was eager to help and wanted to do it all!  It took us awhile, but we got all three pumpkins carved.  Jayson was busy re-arranging the family room furniture while we were busy making a mess!

Merry Early Christmas to us!

Today our new tv arrived!  We're excited for all 60" of Samsung wonderfulness!  The delivery guys arrived early this morning.  After they unpacked it and made sure it worked, Jayson took a break from work to come home and check it out!  Tonight while Brooke & I took the boys trunk-or-treating, Jayson & Jake spent the evening assembling the tv stand and attaching the tv to the stand.  We are very excited!

Trunk-or-Treat

Tonight was our neighborhood Trunk-or-Treat.  After we ran some errands and Eaen took a short nap, we went out to the office to do some year end filing and I took Eaen to trick-or-treat at his grandma's house.  He wasn't happy when I put his costume in the car.  He said Tigger needed to go inside!  When we got to the office & I went to put him in his costume, he started yelling at me, "I'm not Tigger!"  Begrudgingly, he went to the door of the office, but he refused to hold his pumpkin.

After we left the office, he wanted to bounce in the leaves by the car.  And when we got to grandma's, he was in a better mood.  He knocked on the door, said Trick-or-Treat and was happy about it.

When grandma gave him his choice of candy from her bowl, he decided he needed all of it!

When we got home, Eaen took another nap while we waited for Jayson to get home from work.  After Jayson got home, Jake, Brooke & Carson came over and Amanda, Maurie & Aleah joined us to go to the Trunk-or-Treat.  It was a bit difficult to get pictures of all the kids.  Eaen had a great time!  By the second car, he was sticking his hand in the bowl and taking his candy!  At the end of the line, they had a fishing station for the kids.  When we got home and I took off his costume, he actually wanted to put it back on.
