Elephant Rock

Jayson convinced me that it would be great to take the dogs and hike up to Elephant Rock.  I wasn't so thrilled, but made the trip.  The view a the top was gorgeous and Jayson was nice enough to take both dogs the last mile back.

Day Off

After working so much for so long, I got up this morning and decided today was the day for a much needed day off to spend with Eaen!  We spent the morning relaxing around the house and doing some grocery shopping.  Then we picked up lunch and ate with Jayson at the park.

After lunch, Eaen & I went to the aquarium where he jumped on the frog, compared his height to the penguins, pretended like he was going to pet the stingrays (but he kept pulling his hand out of the water if they got close), saw the sharks, otters, and penguins swim.  It was a pretty good day!

Walk

After work today, we went on a family walk.  When we got on the dirt road in the empty lots, Jayson let the dogs off their leashes and Eaen chased them.  It was fun for everyone.

Upside Down

Eaen was bound and determined to put on his own jacket, even if it was upside down.  He had a tough time with the zipper though and finally gave up and left it unzipped.

After dinner today, Carson decided it was his turn to bat and Eaen was happy to pitch!

Drivin

Since it was such a nice day, we let Eaen drive his truck around.  He still needs some practice, but what can you really expect from a 3-year-old?

Graduation

It's finally here!  Today was Graduation day.  Jayson & Eaen came to Commencement with me.  They had a front row seat and I was able to walk right by them during the processional.  It was a little long for Eaen, but he was pretty good and took a nap.

Next, we went over to the convocation for the Goddard School of Business.  It was nice to have my friends there with me.  I was chosen by the faculty to carry the banner for the MTax program.

It was a nice day and I am grateful for all my family who was able to join us.  I am also grateful for all of Jayson's support over the past two years to get us here today!

Play time

I got to pick up Eaen from daycare today.  When we got home, I let Eaen play for awhile before Jayson got home.  I was sitting on my quad watching him play when he decided it would be more fun to climb on Mommy.

Date Night

Since we really haven't had a lot of time together in the last two months, we took the time to have a date night now that busy season is over.  Jayson suggested we go down to the new City Creek Mall.  It was a nice night. We did some shopping.

We ate dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and admired the view of the temple on our way back to the car.
