Disney Day 1

Today was Eaen's first day at Disneyland!  We got up and had breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast, we walked over to Disneyland.  We decided to spend most of the day in California Adventure.  We started with the Toy Story ride.  Eaen loved it!  Right after we got off the ride, Jessie was running by.  We got some pictures and a hug, then followed her down to get her autograph and more pictures.

 

 

 















Eaen got to ride all of the rides in California Adventure and see a lot of characters before he finally crashed in the stroller and we walked back to the hotel for a nap.

After nap time, we grabbed Johnny Rockets for dinner, then went back for a few more rides and World of Color.  We even stopped at City Hall to pick up his "1st Visit" button.

 

 

 

HBM & Here We Goooooo!

This morning I had my interview with Hansen, Barnett & Maxwell.  I thought it went really well.  It was my 5th firm I was able to do on-campus interviews with and I have two more next week! : )  After the interview, I picked up Eaen from Lisa's and she let us borrow their Micky Mouse leash.  Eaen was very excited!  He wouldn't put Mickey down the rest of the day.  We ran all of our last minute errands before I headed to class and Eaen even sat Mickey in the shopping cart next to him at Costco.  When it was time to change Eaen's diaper, he insisted Mickey needed his diaper changed too. 

 
















After class it was a quick stop at home to pick up Jayson and Eaen, then off to the airport.  Eaen & I met Grandma and Aunt Mimi at the airport for our Disneyland adventure.  We were sad to see Papa head home though.  : (  We'll sure miss him!  Eaen was excited to see the planes at the airport.  He couldn't wait until it was our turn!

He was a good boy on the plane and didn't put up any fight to sit in his car seat the whole trip.  He did fall asleep about 10 minutes before we landed.

Today was long.  I interviewed with HJ & Associates.  It went really well.  After my interview, we had our professional meeting and luncheon, then classes for 6 hrs to finish the night.  Now I'm at home trying to get all my work and homework done before we leave town tomorrow.  Hopefully I can get some sleep with another interview in the morning!

I had my on-campus interview today.  It went really well!  I would definitely say the best so far!  It was a great way to start the week!  I have two more on-campus interviews this week, then Eaen & I are off to Disneyland for three days.  After class tonight, we had Maurie for a little bit.  I wish Eaen had more opportunities to play with his friends.

Utah vs. BYU

Today was the big game!  It's much earlier in the season now that the teams aren't in the same conference.  To the fans it is still as important as ever.  This is the bragging rights for the next year! 

We went to the Christensen's to watch the game.  Eaen enjoyed playing with the kids.  They even got the white boards out and sat at the tables coloring for quite awhile.  Unfortunately, by half-time it was bedtime, so we headed home.  The game started out GREAT!  BYU fumbled into the end zone and Utah recovered for a TOUCHDOWN just seconds into the game!  The halftime score was 14-10 Utah.  In the second half, Utah exploded!  We haven't seen a beating like this in years!  Utah scored 40 points and held BYU scoreless in the second half to finish the game 54-10!
