Mattress Optional

I went in to check on Eaen last night when it was way past his bedtime and he was still up.  To my surprise, he had removed the mattress off his toddler bed and put his pillows on the rails where he was laying.  I said, "That can't be comfortable!"  Who is this kid anyway?  He was pleased as punch!  After a little while, I made him put the mattress back on to go to sleep.  I'm such a mean mom!  ; )
