Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve already!?!  I really don't know where this year has gone!  It doesn't seem like a whole year ago that we were in Kodiak!  We were a little late on taking the neighbor cookies around.  When we went to deliver them, Eaen would ring the doorbell then stand on the front porch yelling, "Merry Chritmas!" (He leaves the 1st "s" out of Christmas) until they opened the door.  It was great!

We started our Christmas Eve at Grandma Woodhave's for dinner.  Just as we were sitting down to eat, Jayson got a call from work.  The closing guy didn't show up and they were getting backed up.  Jayson had to skip dinner and go to work.  : (  Eaen had a great time with his cousins!  We opened our stockings from Grandma and the kids each got bouncy balls.  They were a hit!  Eaen, Madi, and Shelby bounced them in the kitchen for quite awhile!  Then we gave Grandma her present from the Great-Grandkids.  She was pleasantly surprised!

After we finished with the Woodhave's, I ran home to feed Buster and by that time the dealership was closed so we picked up Jayson on the way to Grandma Winn's.  Lucky for him, there was dinner there too! ; )  After dinner at the Winn's, we played Christmas Pictionary.  Marcia brought a big easel with a pad of paper and split us into teams.  Each team had to come up with Christmas themed stuff, movies, songs, phrases, etc, for the other team to draw.  With things such as Yule Tide, Winter Wonderland, Feliz Navidad, and O'Tannenbaum, the competition was tough!  After each person on both teams taking two turns to draw, we ended in a tie.  Eaen LOVED it!  He was yelling with all of us trying to guess.  In between the two rounds, he decided it was his turn to draw and made his way to the easel with a pencil and went to town!

When we arrived home, Eaen opened his Christmas pajamas and set out cookies and milk for Santa, then went promptly to bed.

Jayson & I finished wrapping Eaen's presents while we watched the Ice Age Christmas movie and we are off to bed pretty early ourselves.
